DIRECTOR OF COMPLIANCE for a TOP 100 LAW FIRM

We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Solicitor capable of identifying risks broader than those set out by the SRA. Being forward thinking, operational, strategic and dynamic are key attributes for this highly regarded Top 100 law firm with offices in Bath, London, Oxford and beyond.

This role is integral to the business and the executive management team and a rare opportunity for someone who thinks beyond the role of a COLP.

Key skills/attributes:

• Solicitor- at least 3 years PQE
• A thorough understanding of the requirements of a COLP
• Ability to identify, recognise and appreciate risk and its impact
• Strategic and commercial acumen
• Strong leadership skills; a great communicator and relationship builder
• Operational experience desirable
• Ability to challenge the status quo and seek best practice at all times
• Integrity and ability to stand and review matters independently
