My client, an innovative company within the Life Sciences remit is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their established legal department on a permanent basis.
This fantastic opportunity covers a broad range of legal and compliance matters, interfacing with a range of stakeholders.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
* Drafting and reviewing a range of commercial contracts and agreements including but not limited to license agreements, service agreements and clinical trial agreements
* Delivering training in relation to data protection policies as well as implementing new compliance policies where necessary
* Working closely with the business in the UK as well as liaising with colleagues in the United States
You will need to hold a commercial view when advising on legal matters and risk whilst being able to work seamlessly with others and provide support where necessary. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor, holding a minimum of 3 years PQE*. A scientific background or prior exposure to the Life Sciences remit is necessary. As well as this, any German, French or Spanish language skills would also be advantageous.
