My client, a national UK firm is currently looking to recruit a Childcare Paralegal in one of their regional offices in South Yorkshire. You should be someone who ideally wanted to develop a long-term career in this area of law.
The Role:
* Direct assistance with care clients: Client contact point for new cases and allocation and when team in court
* Office contact for all phone and drop in enquiries and for Guardian and expert liaison
* Setting up appointments: Booking meeting rooms and any additional requirements
* Support to team with client contacts, instructions; follow up, statements checking, etc.
* PLO meetings attending with clients (Legal Help) - Supported and Supervised
Your skill-set:
* It is essential you have working knowledge and understanding of Children Law and the Children Act
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent IT skills, including a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Ability to build good working relationships with members of the team and clients
* Ability to work proactively and can do attitude
