Junior Conveyancing Assistant

 

A Junior Conveyancing Legal Assistant is required to join a South Manchester based law firm to assist the senior members of the team. Previous conveyancing legal assistant experience is required and you must have strong administration skills. The firm offer great career progression and excellent benefits. You will be working alongside a number of conveyancing legal assistants within a busy department.
 
Duties include:

• Dealing with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and occasionally face to face, in order to provide advice and assistance.
• Responsible for chasing various documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches.
• Ensuring the case management system and any third party web sites are kept up to date.
• Preparing all documentation required for the conveyancing process.
• Preparing the completion packs for the Accounts Department, to include completion statements and invoices.
• Dealing with post-exchange matters as directed by your team manager.
