OUR CLIENT:
Our client is a leading global FMCG company with a diverse range of household products.
THE ROLE:
You will report to the Area General Counsel and Compliance officer ENA (Europe, North America, Australia/NZ) and have a dotted line to SVP Regional Director Central Europe. The Regional Legal Director will provide legal advice and assistance to all business operations in Central Europe comprising 11 countries. The Regional Legal Director will be a member of the CE Regional Management team, and the ENA Legal leadership team. Topics will include, Intellectual property law - relevant to consumer product brands and product launches; Advertising and marketing law, Litigation and dispute resolution, Commercial contracts, Manage and control external counsel/related spend, Compliance including anti-trust, anti-bribery and data privacy and General legal questions arising in a commercial enterprise
You will have International legal qualifications and work experience (for example, dual professional qualification, legal training or work in another jurisdiction, in particular a common law jurisdiction) and exposure to CE legal systems. You will have at least 10 years PQE, which demonstrates successful legal work on brand based contracts, unfair competition, advertising and marketing matters and work experience both as an in house legal counsel within the FMCG industry.
