HEALTHCARE ADVISORY SOLICITOR - LIVERPOOL

Healthcare Advisory Solicitor / Associate NQ-5 – an exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join the Healthcare Advisory team of this top tier firm. Based in Liverpool, you will advise on a range of matters including mental capacity and depravation of liberty issues as well as being involved in inquest work. Previous advocacy experience is not necessary though an interest in the area is important.

  • Previous Experience: Our client is looking for an NQ-5 PQE solicitor preferably from a defendant healthcare advisory background, though claimant experience will be considered. EL/PL experience will also be considered for those wishing to transfer their skill set.

What makes this role so attractive is the varied nature of the work which can involve advising healthcare organisations on anything from court of protection matters and inquest work to more general governance matters.

It is also worth noting that area of law also draws on principles of public law such as human rights and judicial review. In other words, it is a highly technical discipline involving a range of skills and expertise.  Advocacy experience is not absolutely crucial, but would certainly be an advantage.
