VP Legal Counsel

This is a fantastic role for an ambitious 5-8 PQE lawyer with payments, card processing, data privacy experience or strong commercial lawyers with an emphasis on commercial service contracts negotiation.

My client is very open as to the background of the lawyer and is looking to review applications as quickly as possible.

Key accountabilities:

• Manage legal risk and ensure that the legal function adds value to its stakeholders, giving a high class and consistent service in a dynamic operating environment (70%)
• Drive efficiencies and consistent practices, help build know how and maintain template and frameworks (10%)
• Interfacing with and supporting the central legal team (15%)
• Supporting transitioning non-complex legal work into the central legal team or a self-service model (5%)
