My client is a global name in technology and innovation. With office across the UK and an HQ in North America, the Cambridge office is looking to increase their legal team with a Junior In House Lawyer / Commercial NQ.

Description

The Junior In House Lawyer / Commercial NQ will be an active member of the UK legal team. Supporting operations across EMEA, the main responsibilities of the role will be drafting, negotiation and reviewing software license agreements, covering IP matters, having an active role in procurement agreements and being open to a variety of general commercial matters including compliance, data protection and employment.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have qualified as a lawyer in the UK at either a Private Practice or an in-house environment. With up to 2 years PQE*, the Junior Lawyer / Commercial NQ will want to make a real step forward in their career and be a team player within a fast paced and innovative global business.

Desirable skill set:

- solid commercial contract drafting

- understanding of IP & Software

- insight into data protection implications

- an interest/passion for technology

- excellent communication skills

*PQE is a guideline no level of PQE will be precluded from the search.

Job Offer

Depending on experience, this global business based in Cambridge will offer their Junior In House Lawyer / Commercial NQ a competitive salary c£35k - 50k.
