Our client, a leading life sciences organisation now seeks a lawyer to help support one of their research and manufacturing focussed businesses. Reporting to the GC the role will support on broad commercial areas including:
- Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts:
- NDAs
- MTAs and Feasibility Agreements
- Contract Research Agreements
- Development Agreements
- Manufacturing and Supply Agreements
- Purchase Agreements
- Framework Agreements
- Quality Agreements
- Standard Terms and Conditions
The role will also support the business generally on all operational issues that may arise, including property related matters, compliance issues and regulatory issues, as well as providing support to the Group General Counsel from time to time as appropriate on group-related matters including group compliance and M&A transactions.
The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified solicitor or if qualified abroad have practised in the UK and ideally have some prior in-house experience. Previous life sciences experience working with either a pharma or devices company, CMO or CRO will be useful but commercial candidates from other sectors are encourage to apply. You will also need to be able to work in a team matrix where required but also have the ability to work independently.
