Family Solicitor - North Manchester - High Street

Opportunity to work with a well established high street firm who are seeking an experienced solicitor (3 Year' PQE+) to deal with a mixed caseload of private paying, legal aid and care work.

The role will initially see you deal with a split of legal aid as well as work on a growing caseload of private paying family matters. There will also be the opportunity to develop the private work and build that arm of the department whilst working closely with a senior partner. Work is varied and will consist of divorce, ancillary relief, pre-nuptial agreements, domestic violence, injunctions, private children work and childcare.

Your client base will be built up of local and regional clients who will often come into the office for face to face meetings, so prior experience of dealing with clients in this manner would be ideal. As this is an autonomous role you will be dealing with all aspects of the file from start to finish and you ideally be an experienced advocate, as this is in important part of this job role.

Salary will be circa £30k - £40k with an added benefits scheme and work / life balance in place. This position would suit an ambitious solicitor who is willing to work hard and help grow a department as well as dealing with a broad mix of work.
