Our Client is looking for a junior commercial contracts specialist to join their team.
Client Details
Our client is an internationally renowned university, with head offices based in Central London.
Description
The focus of this role is commercial contracts - drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal agreements, letters and other documentation including commercial and other contracts relating to the supply of goods and services, consultancy, general trading contracts, contractors agreements, academic collaborations nationally and internationally.
The successful candidate will be trained in the following areas during their employment:
- property law (tenancies/licences to occupy),
- charity law,
- employment law,
- construction.
A willingness to learn about and engage with these practice areas is key. This is a growth role for someone who would like to develop their expertise and gain a strong foundation for an in house career.
Profile
The successful candidate is likely to be between 0 and 3 years in post qualification experience working at either a chambers ranked firm or in house at a well known organisation.
Again, commercial contract expertise is a requisite for this role (a commercial training seat will suffice).
Experience of working in a higher education and / or a charity sector environment is desirable but not requisite.
