We have recently expanded our business to include IP litigation and additional IP services and we are looking for a pro-active and diligent IP Litigation / Trade Mark Secretary to play a key role in supporting the development of this growing service as well as providing secretarial support within the Trade Mark secretarial team as required.
To succeed in this role, you will be excited by the opportunity of being the go to person for IP Litigation secretarial matters within the firm, be flexible to work with across departments and provide support where needed, and keen to learn and develop your skills. You will have the confidence and skills to train other secretaries, as required, and be highly organised and efficient to ensure that departmental deadlines and urgent tasks are completed. Skills and Qualifications
Successful candidates will:
- have some administrative work experience with at least 1 year working in an IP Litigation administration/secretarial role, and ideally some experience of working in a Trade Mark administration role.
- be capable of managing a busy and diverse work load, and providing flexible support to other teams when required, with accuracy and an attention to detail.
- demonstrate strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with both the ability to think and plan ahead and to apply increasing IP knowledge to draft correspondence accurately and efficiently
- demonstrate proficiency in using a range of systems, databases, spreadsheets and presentation packages in order to provide a high level of support to Fee-earners
- contribute effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
- demonstrate an ability to provide excellent client service
