Chadwick Nott have just been instructed on an In-house Counsel Role with a boutique Personal Injury law firm based in Manchester city centre. The salary on offer will depend on the candidates experience and as a rough guide will be c£50K.
The role will involve dealing with block bookings at local Stage 3 MOJ Hearings, handling telephone conferences/applications and Fast Track Trials. You would also be expected to draft pleadings and court documents including but not limited to Schedules of Loss in low to medium valued Multi Track cases as well as providing written advice on cases.
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with Higher Rights, an excellent working knowledge of the CPR, JC Guidelines etc and experience running their own trials. You should be an expert on Claimant Personal Injury and ideally have some knowledge of Defendant Personal Injury also.
The salary will be dependent upon experience and there will be flexibility for the right person.
