Real Estate Managing Associate - Edinburgh

It's an exciting time for us here at Bond Dickinson, with the planned growth of our Scottish team and our opening of a new office in central Edinburgh.  There is an opportunity to join a collegiate team of fee earners across our network of UK offices at this early stage of our new Edinburgh offering.

Our client base in Scotland is broad, covering a number of our key sectors  including real estate, energy, and retail. Our Edinburgh real estate role is focussed on developing additional work and new to firm work from developers and investors, and supporting  our other key sectors such as Energy and Renewables and Retail with their real estate requirements.  A number of our national clients have indicated that they could instruct us on further Scottish work with an Edinburgh presence in real estate. It is in specific response to that client feedback that we are investing further in Scotland.

We would love to hear from Associates or Managing Associates with a credible track record in real estate work in Scotland. This is a challenging (but hopefully rewarding!) role – it’s a new offering where you will be expected to market internally to colleagues, and to get out and developing a profile in the marketplace to help us convert opportunities with existing clients, as well as new ones.  You will be ably supported by our network of regional offices, most closely Aberdeen and Newcastle, and our dedicated Sector support and Business Development teams.  If you are up for the challenge, then you have the chance to develop a high profile role for yourself within the firm, with the prospect of career progression through our career framework in short order if you can deliver.
