Senior Residential Property Lawyer sought for a leading practice in Gloucestershire.
A highly regarded practice with a string of offices, our client is a well-established firm with roots dating back more than two centuries. With numerous departments commended in the Legal 500 and awards and accreditations backing up their commitment to staff and client care, they now have more than 300 staff and continue to go from strength to strength.
The Role
We are now tasked with sourcing a talented and focused Senior Residential Property Lawyer to join our clients’ well-regarded and CQS accredited department in Cheltenham. Managing a team of fee earners and support, the successful Lawyer will undertake a full and varied caseload incorporating all aspects of freehold and leasehold conveyancing transactions to include HNW matters. Additional involvement in business development activities and leading a team form an essential part of the position.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Residential Property department.
You must have excellent technical skills, encompassing all transactional variants.
You will ideally have prior experience supervising junior fee earners and support staff.
An aptitude for business development would be highly advantageous.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate your team.
You will be highly organised with the ability to manage a demanding caseload with additional responsibilities.
