Commercial Property Solicitor: Edinburgh

It's an exciting time for for our national expanding client, with the planned growth of the Scottish team and the opening of a new office in central Edinburgh. There is an opportunity to join a collegiate team of fee earners across the rich network of UK offices at this early stage of the new Edinburgh offering.

The client base in Scotland is broad, covering a number of our clients key sectors including real estate, energy, and retail. The Edinburgh real estate role is focussed on developing additional work and new to firm work from developers and investors, and supporting the other key sectors such as Energy and Renewables and Retail with their real estate requirements. A number of their national clients have indicated that they could instruct us them further Scottish work with an Edinburgh presence in real estate. It is in specific response to that client feedback that they are investing further in Scotland.

Our client would love to hear from Associates or Managing Associates with a credible track record in real estate work in Scotland. This is a challenging (but hopefully rewarding!) role - it's a new offering where you will be expected to market internally to colleagues, and to get out and developing a profile in the marketplace to help them convert opportunities with existing clients, as well as new ones. You will be ably supported by their network of regional offices, most closely Aberdeen and Newcastle, and their dedicated Sector support and Business Development teams. If you are up for the challenge, then you have the chance to develop a high profile role for yourself within the firm, with the prospect of career progression through their career framework in short order if you can deliver.
