Senior Commercial Lawyer

This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a part-time Senior Commercial Lawyer to join a highly respected multi-national business in the Energy and Utilities sector. Paying up to £70k pro-rata for an exceptional candidate, this high-profile positon requires a committed, experienced solicitor who has the drive to take on a full-throttle, challenging and varied role with enthusiasm and credibility.

As this is a part-time role, the ideal candidate will be a flexible team player who can hit the ground running and have real credibility within the team and with the senior stakeholders they will engage with on a regular basis.

Demonstrable experience within the energy sector is highly advantageous and preferred, although people with a background in Technology, Telecoms or IT/IP sectors will also be considered. What is essential is a passion for the energy and utilities industry, and the ever-evolving nature of this fast-paced and competitive sector.

The successful candidate will ideally be at least 5 years PQE and already have a clear track record in a senior position. My client are looking for a qualified solicitor/legal executive who already has in-house experience within a Technology/Energy and Utilities or Telecoms business, and previous experience at a top-level law firm.

Excellent commercial awareness is required for this position, as you will be expected to advise on wide-ranging legal matters across the whole business within the UK.
