Head of Legal (Interim)

We are currently working with a well-known retailer in their search for a Head of Legal, for a 12 month maternity contract.

Managing a small team, you will be the lead contact for all Legal matters covering a broad range of commercial matters.

These matters include;

• Handle a wide range of commercial contracts
• Advise the wider marketing teams on more complex internal and external advertising matters, as well as promotions approval
• Advise on new product innovation which will include conflict and TM checks
• Assist on high profile IP/ TM and general litigation claims

Ideal candidate;

• UK Qualified Solicitor
• Likely to have upwards of 10 years PQE
• Worked within a fast paced retail/FMCG background
• Management experience
• Broad commercial expertise – including commercial contracts, IT, advertising, consumer, etc.
• Active interest in the retail industry
• Strong communications skills
• Available to start at the beginning of April

They are looking for someone to start at the beginning of April.
