Our client, a leading services business is seeking a GDPR Project Manager to join them on an interim basis until May 2018 as part of an engaged legal team committed to enabling continued success.
Within this position you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing and completing the internal GDPR project in accordance with the upcoming regulation's criteria.
Key responsibilities will include;
* Working closely with the Information Security Manager and IT teams on the implementation of new data protection systems
* Mapping the data flows of the business with input from IT, Operations and Legal
* Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to gather and collate information, keeping a record of decisions made and actions determined
* Ensuring that the project plan is delivered to the agreed quality, time and budget targets
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the existing Data Protection Act and the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation and its practical implications.
You will be able to effectively manage your workload and time whilst being confident in working both autonomously and as part of a wider team. The role would be suited to both qualified solicitors and individuals with experience and exposure of working within a legal function who are non qualified. Any experience of working with IT systems would also be advantageous.
