Banking - Markets Infrastructure Lawyer

My client is a leading fiancial instituation who are looking to add a Markets Infrastructure Lawyer you will work within the Traded Products Legal Team.

Ideally you will have a clearing house or brokerage background at VP equvilent level to join a team of 16 lawyers plus 4 consultants.

As a Markets Infrastructure Lawyer you will work within the Traded Products Legal Team. You will have a role that matters, providing insightful, high quality output, advice and guidance tailored to a range of stakeholder needs and to the Legal community across the Group. As a functional specialist you will provide advice and guidance around the OTC clearing membership agreements and applications, including reviews of rules for various exchanges and clearing houses such as ICE Clear Europeand LCH.

Your key accountabilities for this role will include acting as a source of professional expertise, providing professional advice as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and assisting with the development of policy and procedures. You will provide Legal technical input to support the delivery of projects, product developments and transactions with a significant impact across the Group, Commercial Banking or the Financial Markets Business Unit - you may manage appropriate resource to meet business needs.
