We have some exciting opportunities for lawyer to join the Projects team in our Melbourne office.  In these roles, you will be joining a market leading team and managing and building on a strong client portfolio.  And most importantly, you will have the rare chance to make your own mark and broaden your experience in a dynamic and established practice.  

Your contribution will really count. You will be working with leading practitioners across a broad range of industries, including private and public services and utilities, transport and other social and economic infrastructure.  On a daily basis, you will be involved in contract drafting, advising and negotiation for large, high profile clients in relation to complex construction, engineering, project-finance and large-scale infrastructure projects within Australia and in the Asia-Pacific region. You will also have exposure to client management and development responsibilities, and will benefit from working in our supportive and collaborative team.   

Qualifications, skills and experience

Ideally, you will be admitted to practise in Australia or New Zealand and seeking to return to work in Australia. To be successful, you will also have:

• approx. 1-5 PQE in the practice area of projects; and
• first class drafting, writing, negotiation and project management skills, and commercial acumen.

We are also open to considering candidates with more experience, or experience in transactional disciplines other than projects provided they are able to fulfil the requirements of these roles.
