Senior Legal Counsel (UK lead Counsel) - Pharma

Leading life sciences company seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to lead on legal matters for one of their divisions/businesses in the UK.

Reporting to the overall lead lawyer for the UK this key position will provide independent legal leadership throughout the business and will sit on the division's senior management team (whilst also interacting with the wider legal team) . More specifically the role will be responsible for commercial contracts (eg. manufacturing, distribution and licensing). You will also oversee regulatory matters and compliance and legal risks as well as managing all litigious matters. 

You will be a UK qualified lawyer (or if not lawyer with significant UK based experience) gained from a reputable law firm and/or a similar international healthcare organisation or synonymous manufacturing company. You will also have existing commercial/corporate experience whilst some non-contentious and/or contentious IP experience could also be useful but is not essential. You will also need to be able to work at all levels including influencing senior management.
