Locum Childcare Legal Officer

Venn Group's specialist legal team are recruiting for a Locum Childcare Legal Officer to join a local authority in Lincolnshire. This is an on-going contract with a minimum term of 3 months.

Applications are welcomed from experienced LPC Graduates, Legal Assistants, newly qualified Solicitors and/or Legal Executives.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Dealing with a wide range of Childcare Law matters and advising the client department as required
• Assisting solicitors with cases including pre–proceedings in care and adoption proceedings, child protection/safeguarding and private law cases
• Drafting all relevant legal documents such as care applications and statements in the course of proceedings
• Regularly attending meetings alongside Solicitors

A rate of £16-22 per hour can be expected for this role however this will be dependant upon experience and is negotiable.
