Funds Lawyer

-The successful funds lawyer will go into a small, commercially minded legal team dealing with a wide autonomy of funds legal work and general in-house documentation in line with Business objectives.

- Established entity that was formed in 2008 built out to adapt to an ever changing funds market.

Description

• The successful funds lawyer will have good Regulatory knowledge and practical application of the FCA Handbook, as well as knowledge and understanding of the Irish fund law and regulations would be an asset.

• Fund documentation review

• Attend and actively participate at various forums and committees

• Drafting and negotiating fund documentation, investment management and advisory agreements, broker terms and other investment related agreements

• Drafting and negotiating distribution agreements, platform agreements and distribution related documents

• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers

• Liaising with external counsel on various fund related and commercial matters

• General reporting and monitoring including monthly legal team management information and annual management information reports

• General support on legal queries from the business

• Able to work successfully in a team environment, managing a wide variety of tasks.

Profile

-Qualified Solicitor (preferably UK & Wales)

-Good London Funds legal Experience

-Solid training contract whether in private practice, or in-house.

-Strong Investment Management background
