Private Client (Wills Tax Trusts Probate) Salaried Partner 8+ years’ PQE LONDON

Niche private practice law firm in London is keen to recruit a Private Client (Wills Tax Trusts Probate) Solicitor of 8 or more years’ PQE. It is likely you will be recruited as a salaried Partner and you will also Head-up the Private Client team. The vacancy has come about because the current Partner and Head of Department is retiring and because of this he will hand over his entire caseload/ clients/ client referrers to the successful candidate. So effectively there will be a full caseload for you to takeover, once you are in situ. Although the role is a head of department role, you will be overseeing 3 experienced Private Client lawyers (two of whom are part-time) who are pretty much self-sufficient so very little day-to-day management will be required.

In addition to the above, this role might also appeal because of the culture/ working environment which exists at this firm. Because the firm is small, the partnership there is very open-minded to flexible working arrangements to suit the individual in question. Therefore if, for instance, your domestic situation dictated that you needed some flexibility in how you structured your hours, then they would try to accommodate that.

You will currently specialise in Private Client law and will either already be a salaried partner at your current firm or you may still be a Senior Associate, but perhaps on the cusp of partnership.
