Our client is a leading international pharmaceutical company seeking to appoint an experienced Data Privacy Manager to support the data protection officer on all aspects of operational data protection law.
THE ROLE:
The role will be based in Germany and you will advise across the business on data protection matters and ensure compliance with the forthcoming new European regulations. The examination of business processes and systems, such as conducting privacy audits and employee training on privacy issues will also form part of the responsibilities of this role.
You need to be a fully qualified German lawyer with not less than 3 years' relevant work experience in data protection law from a law firm or a life sciences company. You must have the ability to simplify complex legal issues and communicate effectively, with a proactive, self motivated approach. You must be fluent in German and English and have a willingness to travel.
