Head of Legal & Compliance

An exciting, newly created role in the retail sector has arisen. This is an amazing opportunity to join a rapidly growing FTSE 250 constituent and to lead a team.

Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer and leading a team of six you will handle a broad range of legal and regulatory issues such as:

• drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across a broad range of topics in relation to the UK business
• advising on a broad range of employment matters
• advising on small corporate M&A deals
• shaping the businesses legal and compliance agenda, methodology and deployment
• building strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies

You must be a U.K. qualified lawyer with ideally 4-8PQE across a broad range of legal and compliance issues. You will ideally have in-house experience. You will need to be able to lead and develop a team and act as a driver for change in the business.
