Your new company
You will be joining a top 100 UK full service firm with over 40 Partners based in Cardiff and a London presence. This collegiate firm acts for individuals and businesses in both the private and public sector.

Your new role
You will be joining an impressive Care and Adoption Team which continues to expand and includes a number of accredited Children Panel Solicitors. The main focus of the department's work is in providing invaluable support to various local authority children's services departments in Wales and the wider South West generally. Care proceedings, adoption and placement applications and special guardianship order applications are examples of the diverse nature of your likely caseload. You will also be able to conduct your own family advocacy.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have gained post qualification experience in childcare issues acting for both local authorities and guardians and, to a lesser extent, parents. Equally important is your ability to demonstrate empathy in what are often challenging circumstances.
