One of the UK's leading law firms is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation solicitor based in their Sheffield office. The successful candidate will benefit from a wide range of high quality work, realistic opportunity for career progression and a high level of client interaction.
The Business and role
This role sits within the busy Commercial Litigation team of this top tier Legal 500 law firm and clients range from local SME businesses through to household name companies, FTSE and Fortune 500 enterprises, public bodies and local authorities. An indication of the type of work the team regularly undertakes includes:
*Acting on behalf of clients in a wide range of commercial disputes
*Breach of contract and supply chain disputes
*Corporate support including breach of warranty claims
*Professional negligence claims
*Shareholder disputes
*Enforcement of restrictive covenants and injunctive relief
The existing team currently comprises a Partner, Senior Associate, Junior Associate, Barrister and newly qualified assistant solicitor giving the candidate the opportunity for genuine career progression within the team. As well as the current vacancy, the team's intention is to recruit a further NQ in Solicitor in September 2017.
Requirements:
*2 - 4 years' post qualification experience in Commercial Litigation
*Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining excellent client relationships
*Sound knowledge of relevant law and Civil Procedure Rules
*Previous case management experience and use of IT database systems
*Commitment to playing an active role in business development activities
