Construction Dispute Resolution Lawyer, 2+ PQE, Edinburgh/ Glasgow

Market-leading Construction team within a major global law firm is looking to hire a Construction Dispute Resolution Lawyer with circa 2+ PQE, to be based in their offices in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Role Profile:

• The firm are recognised both nationally and internationally as the leading adviser to the construction and engineering industries and for infrastructure and energy projects.  They have an unrivalled reputation in acting for contractors, project companies, developers, public bodies, funders and insurers and act for over half of the UK's top 50 contractors, a large number of the top contractors worldwide and an impressive range of private and public sector clients.    
• Legal services span national and international procurement techniques and strategies (including PFI and FIDIC) and all forms of dispute resolution.

Candidate Requirements:

• Construction and engineering disputes lawyer with 5+ PQE.
• Ideally, candidates will have specialist construction disputes background, although candidates from a commercial litigation background may also be considered.
• Candidates must be technically excellent but, equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. 
• You be a team player with a strong client focused approach and excellent communication and organisational skills.
