Paralegal - High Net Worth Family

A rare opportunity has arisen at a top mid sized City firm for a Paralegal in the Family team.

The team is highly rated and boasts an enviable client base of High and Ultra High Net Worth individuals, including well-known parties from the media and entertainment, sporting and corporate world.

Due to this, the paralegal role also encompasses data protection, defamation/libel and protection of private material (photographs and recordings) as well as the more standard family law matters including pre and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, civil partnerships, and divorce and separation. Often the work is complex and international.

The successful paralegal can look forward to gaining rare experience, much more hands on and varied than the standard paralegal role, and therefore will make their cv stand out for future training contract or pupillage applications.

Applications are welcome from candidates who have excellent academics, for example at least a 2.1 in their degree and at least a Commendation in the GDL/LPC. Although the firm would ideally prefer a paralegal who has completed the LPC or BPTC, they are open to someone without if they can demonstrate good work experience.

It is not essential to have completed the Family elective on the LPC or to necessarily want to qualify as a family solicitor or barrister, but some interest in the area would need to be evident.
