Financial services organisation based in Surrey requires a pensions lawyer to join the legal team.
Sitting directly with the business, you will work with the lead pensions counsel in supporting the defined benefits business unit with all legal and regulatory matters that arise. You will have ideally had some exposure to defined benefits pensions/insurance and some experience drafting and negotiating buy in / buy out transactions but this is not strictly necessary. You will be involved in providing a wide range of advice relating to commercial contracts including administration agreements, as well as transactions and handling queries from trustees.
Our client will consider lawyers coming from private practice or in-house, ideally with a pensions background but also with a wider insurance or financial services background.
This position is based in Surrey.
