Our client a major international pharmaceutical company are now seeking an experienced data privacy lawyer or privacy professional to lead on privacy matters for the organisation in the UK and Ireland.
The role will lead and co-ordinate the privacy compliance program for all parts of the business. As part of the global privacy group the role will cover all privacy related matters in the region including advising on privacy laws and policies (development and implementation including training) as well as monitoring initiatives locally. The role will also interact with regulators and lead local responses to subject access requests and data security breaches.
You will either be a lawyer or privacy professional with excellent knowledge of privacy programmes and data protection laws. Prior life sciences experience will be advantageous but candidates from other sectors will also be considered. You will also be an excellent communicator and team player and be happy to travel as needed between the UK and Ireland.
