More specifically, as a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing training evaluation methods to show ROI and to review effectiveness
- Working with third party providers to deliver training requirements and effectively manage budgets
- Maintaining and managing existing training programmes
- Setting up and attending training events, acting as the firms key L&D point of contact
- Acting as an internal subject matter expert to relevant business areas in identifying learning and development needs to meet the objectives of the business
- Identifying the learning and development needs arising from Performance Reviews
- Providing advice to managers and staff on matters relating to L&D
- Researching appropriate course material and develop new learning opportunities
- Overseeing the preparation of training courses/material and coordinating attendance
With a background in Learning and Development, ideally working within a small team or sole professional, you will have significant experience working in high touch environments, with a variety of external and internal training courses. You will be proactive and have excellent communication skills with a strong coaching style and ability to engage and drive performance.
This is a contract position, and as a result, you will need to be available either immediately or at short notice.
