Family Paralegal

Are you a Family Paralegal who would like to be part of a busy family department based in the heart of York?
 
In this Family Paralegal role, you will be joining a firm that has a real emphasis on developing staff, and the main goal of this role will be to train you into becoming proficient in your work and being responsible for your own case load.
 
You will be joining one of North Yorkshire’s largest firms in a busy family department. As a Family Paralegal, you will be responsible for working with and supporting two Family Care Solicitors on a wide variety of family law matters, including Legal Aid cases.
 
This role will require you to draft statements, prepare and draft applications for court, prepare trial bundles and liaising with clients and professional experts.

You must have previous experience working as a Family Paralegal in a family department, where you have supported a solicitor or team of solicitors in a wide range of family and care matters including Legal Aid.
 
It is essential that you are degree/LPC educated or equivalent experience, be interested in family and care matters and have an understanding of CCMS and Legal Aid.
