In this Head of Business Development role you will be responsible for developing a sales and business development function. You will recruit a small high performing team of client facing senior level Business Development Directors who will be adept at targeting and developing relationships with major corporates, investment funds and high profile property owners across the commercial and retail sectors. You will develop a clear business development strategy including developing and monitoring sales pipeline, developing sales processes and monitoring ROI. You will also lead by example by taking on responsibility for sales in a designated area according to your expertise. Although the role is initially aligned to the asset management/property management part of the business, as the business development function proves it’s worth, there will be the opportunity to develop the function across other areas of the business.
You will have a significant track record sales and client facing business development at a strategic level within professional or financial services. You will have proven yourself in winning high profile business and have the ability to network, forge and develop long-term relationships with major corporates, investment managers, funds and or within private equity.
