Life Sciences Lawyer (m/f)

You will be the first lawyer on the ground and you will be responsible for providing strategic legal support to the business in Europe and in particular in Germany. You will provide expert legal counsel and guidance on a broad range of issues, including contract negotiation and drafting across the breadth of all European activities, e.g. sales agreements, consulting agreements, clinical trial agreements, IP licensing or product acquisition agreements. Furthermore you will advise on healthcare compliance matters and provide legal advice for the activities of other functions within the company such as the Regulatory, Quality, IT, Finance, HR and Intellectual Property departments. You will support business operations, educate and train staff on important legal issues as well as work closely with senior management in the European commercial teams.

You will be a German qualified lawyer, with outstanding academics and at least 5 years' post-qualification experience acquired at a leading law firm as well as in-house experience in the medical devices or life sciences sectors. You are a disciplined, strong self-starter with outstanding business acumen and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business both internally and externally. You thrive in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You are fluent in German and English.
