Head of Department (Family)

Are you a highly experienced Family Solicitor looking for a Head of Department opportunity within an established Legal 500 law firm in York city centre?

This is an integral role within the firm where you will lead the Family department and have full responsibility for supervising the team, setting financial targets and budgets, compliance and networking and business development across the department.

In addition, you will be responsible for your own caseload of private Children Act work, high value complex divorce and ancillary relief matters, injunctions and cohabitee disputes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join one of North Yorkshire’s leading Legal 500 law firms as Head of the Family Department.

It is essential that you are a qualified Family Solicitor, either currently employed as Head of Department within a competitor firm, or with strong line management experience. Resolution membership is essential and membership of the Collaborative Law Group would be advantageous.
