Legal Secretary – Residential Conveyancing

Liverpool City Centre

 

 

Due to expansion, a Conveyancing Legal Secretary is required to join a newly created Residential Conveyancing department, with a leading Liverpool Law Firm.

 

The Legal Secretary Position will be a key hire in the support and set up of this new team, therefore in depth Residential Conveyancing experience is absolutely essential for this role.

Typically the Legal Secretary position will include:

 

  • Support to Residential Conveyancing fee earners on a 2:1 ratio
  • Preparing documents to the in house style
  • Property searches and forms
  • Responding to queries – phone/email
  • Diary Management – outlook
  • Filing, archiving
  • Assist with billing

 

Requirements:

 

  • Experienced in dealing with specific conveyancing forms and procedures
  • Experience in using the Proclaim case management system
  • Work well to deadlines and under pressure
  • A high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • An understanding of conveyancing rules and money laundering requirements
  •  

 

The role is offered on a full time basis, salary depending on experience. Excellent benefits include – 25 days holiday increasing with service, contributory pension, bonus scheme, various schemes and other benefits.
