About the Client:

Dominating a niche retail market, my client has a signifciant property portfolio throughout the UK.
They continue to remain one the country's most recognisable brands, and have an exciting future ahead of them as they continue to dominate their sector.

About the role:

To complete the existing legal team they seek to hire a Commercial Property Solicitor offering 4+ PQE (this is set as a guidance only, and those of lesser PQE are not discouraged from applying).
The role will involve liaising and working closely with the inhouse team & external surveyors, landlords and tennants etc.
This is an exciting role and would suit a Commercial Property solicitor who is looking to make their first move from Private Practice to inhouse.

Experience in dealing with a range of Commercial Property transactions including:

* surrenders
* exercising of break notices
* negotiating commercial leases
* relocations

The commercial property solicitor will have the following skills, and experience:

* UK qualified solicitor.
* Experience of running own caseload from inception through to completion.
* An in-depth understanding of commercial property law (see list above).

* Ability to know when to consult or seek advice from supervisors or in other professional areas.
* Develop and nurture business relations with non-legal members of the business and external contacts.
* A willingness to travel throughout the UK, on an ad-hoc basis.
* Training gaind from national or large regional law firm.
* Strong academic history.

This is a rare opportunity to work in an exciting and fast paced role and environment.

The legal team are friendly and supportive. They promote a flexible working environment, and are offering an attractive salary, and benefits package. This role will also be open to those looking at working on a part time basis. Ideally a minimum of four days, however this is open for discussion.
