A long standing traditional law firm with offices across West Yorkshire are now looking for a legal secretary to join their property department and work on a one-to-one basis with the Partner and Head of Property.  This is a great opportunity for a you to join a firm with traditional values and work ethics but also a firm that adopts modern processes and software that enable you to complete every job effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • The role with include a high level of audio typing and dictation but experience and knowledge of property law will be a distinctive advantage but not a prerequisite.
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as having a high degree of speed whilst ensuring accuracy is absolutely essential.
  • Assist with general communication activities e.g. diary management, booking client meetings, client contact reports, delegate packs etc.

Key Skills

  • Previous secretarial experience within a Legal Secretary role with a minimum typing speed of 65 wpm would be advantageous
  • You must be able to demonstrate that you are able to work to and meet deadlines, have the ability to prioritise your workload, whilst having an excellent eye for detail with a concern for quality and accuracy.
  • As a Legal Secretary you will have the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels within the firm
