We are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our team in a Conveyancing Solicitor role so, if you are looking for a new challenge, then this may be the role for you.

About the role

In this role, you will provide the Development and Sales teams with practical, straightforward advice on property issues and manage a caseload of property disposals and transactions.

Key accountabilities of this role will include:

  • To act for Paragon as our appointed solicitor in respect of Right to Buy and Right to Acquire sales, property disposals, shared ownership staircasing and new build plot sales, progressing these disposals to a timely completion.
  • To provide legal advice in relation to the Paragon’s commercial premises and associated commercial tenancies.
  • To act for Paragon in relation to the variation of existing property agreements, covenant releases, easements and deeds of grant etc.
  • To undertake pre-sale title investigations in relation to property disposals being undertaken by Paragon.
  • Draft shared ownership and plot sale leases ensuring that bank and building society requirements are met and also that the documentation complies with the HCA’s Funding Conditions.
  • To provide legal advice to Paragon in relation to general property matters, including issues such as boundary disputes.
  • Undertake preparation of charging information for Paragon’s funders.

About you

  • Minimum 3 years PQE
  • Conveyancing experience.
  • Experience of working with developers and proven ability to manage complex caseloads.
  • Knowledge of Land and Property law
  • A proven passion for providing excellent legal advice
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to organise time and work unsupervised with a flexible approach to working
  • Excellent technical and administration skills
