Legal Cashier Supervisor

Our client is an international law firm with offices in New York and London. They are an award winning practice featuring in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For and numerous other industry specific awards.

The Firm currently have an opening for a Legal Cashier Supervisor, who will be responsible for overseeing the services provided by the Accounts team. 

Responsibilities

Process and oversee payments for client and office accounts

Process and oversee ledger entries for client and office funds 

Monitor and action transfers between client and office accounts 

Authorise payments

Maintain department holiday rotas

Promote, maintain and develop relationships with internal and external clients 

Supervise and monitor the workflow for the team 

Supervise the administrative functions within the team

Monitor performance of individuals in the team; give feedback

Manage and resolve any cashiering issues within the team

Ensure compliance with SRA Rule changes

Introduce new processes and controls

Assist with the SRA audit

Assist in training of staff 

Candidate Profile

Significant experience in all aspects of Legal Cashiering

Good working knowledge of SARs

Good knowledge of a legal PMS

Advanced Excel skills

Understanding of VAT regulations

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
