We are working with a national law firm, who as part of their strategic growth plans for their Birmingham office, are looking to bolster their Charities offering with a senior hire or team move.

Client Details

A national private practice, with a stronghold in the public sector market and with an existing Charities client base that they are looking to grow and develop.

Description

This is an opportunity for a senior lawyer to join a national firm and spearhead their Charities offering. The firm currently have a stronghold across various public sector client bases and they see the Charities sector as an area that they could kick on with, with the right people in place.

Their London office already works for a number of national charities across corporate, governance, property, employment and regulatory law. They have a number of lawyers with significant expertise in this area and are looking for another leader with connections in the market and a strong reputation for being a leading lawyer in the sector.

They are open minded as to the area of law that the lawyer/team will practice - the key focus is growing the sector offering.

The firm have a track record for growing their market presence across various sectors, through strategic hires and firm acquisitions. So you will have full support to take this forward from all offices.

For the right person, you can come in as the national head of this sector and you will be given full support on business development strategies and recruitment plans.

For a confidential discussion around this firm's plans and where somebody like you might fit in, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.

Profile

It's likely that you'll have at least 5 years' experience advising within the Charities sector. The ideal person would of course be somebody who is an out and out sector specialist with strong connections and a client following in this area. However, the firm are also happy to speak with frustrated Associates/Senior Associates who perhaps see a glass ceiling at their current firm or don't want to make Partnership at that firm.

Equally, you could be a generalist with 25/30% of your clients coming from the Charities sector and want to push on with more focus on this area.

Job Offer

Partnership for the right person with the right following. Clear progression route for a Partner in waiting.
