Deadline looming! Dynamic firm requires an additional Crime Duty Solicitor for the July rotas.
A relative newcomer to the legal market, our client is a specialist practice offering advice to clients throughout the West Midlands. Led by an expert team, they are committed to the provision of high quality advice, endeavouring to achieve the best possible outcome at all times. Currently undergoing a period of expansion, they are now seeking to add to their team.
The Role
We are now seeking an accredited Crime Duty Solicitor to join our clients’ thriving practice in Birmingham. The successful Solicitor will become part of a specialist team, managing a varied caseload of Criminal matters from arrest to trial. Attending and representing clients at police stations and Magistrates Courts throughout the area on a rota basis will form an essential part of the position, with Duty slots to be allocated from July 2017.
Offering flexible full or part time working, our client requires the CRM12 forms to be completed by the 7th April deadline and will provide competitive remuneration for the right Solicitor. Please contact Sophie for further information quoting reference SG25202.
The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with 12 months’ plus PQE, additional Duty accreditation and solid experience within Criminal Defence.
You will have excellent technical and organisational skills and be able to attend detained clients in and out of office hours.
You will have first class communication skills across all levels.
You will be confident, flexible and personable.
