A leading UK hospitality company seek GDPR Project Manager to oversee a EU General Data Protection Regulation
Your new role
This is an exciting role based either in Reading or London with flexible working arrangements available. Within this role you will be project managing and organising the activities required to meet the companies GDPR vision and project plan by May 2018. Reporting in to the Legal Risk Manager (but with a close relationship with the IT members of the GDPR project team).
This is a hybrid role between Legal and IT and it is essential that you can demonstrate the following:
What you'll get in return
- A hybrid of experience between a project manager and someone with data mapping experience;
- Good understanding of, and enthusiasm for, the existing Data Protection Act and the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation and its practical implications (although not necessarily a data protection expert);
- Good understanding of the technical requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and/or information security (although not necessarily an IT expert);
- Previous experience in carrying out a data mapping exercise (ideally, for a large multi-company business);
- Excellent leadership and communications skills to manage upwardly to senior executives as well as to motivate and manage core GDPR team members and sub-groups.
A fixed term contract until May 2018 working with a collaborative and friendly team. Flexibility to work between the Reading and London offices.
