In-House Counsel 2+ To £90,000

Rare opening at this top 10 City firm for a versatile lawyer to join the Legal, Risk Management and Compliance team that is responsible for advising the firm on all legal issues affecting the firm both in the UK and Internationally (excluding the US). The role will involve, but not be limited to the following:

Procurement Contracts

· Working with the procurement team to negotiate a range of contracts, both UK and International

Partner Issues

· Dealing with Leaving Agreements, Partner reports, Consultancy Agreements and interpreting and answering questions on the members' Agreement

Company Secretary

· Annual returns, Company House changes, Board minutes, deeds of accessions and responding on questions from international offices around firm structure

International LLP

· Working on Group Firm agreements, service agreements, general requests from practising entities and assisting with establishing offices and Group firms


Previous experience in data protection, information security and commercial contracts essential. Experience in employment law and partnership law would also be useful. The position is permanent and could be offered on a full time or part time basis (either 3 or 4 days a week). (Ref 2428384)
