Practice Development Specialist

My client, a highly prestigious US law firm, is currently looking to recruit a Practice Development Specialist into their London office on a permanent basis, to work closely alongside the Practice Development Lead.

In joining the Practice Development team of this law firm, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the firm's wider strategy regarding knowledge management, effective dissemination of practice development initiatives and managing related solutions and tools. Examples of responsibilities include:

• Upkeep and maintenance of knowledge management sources and tools and thorough content management
• Maintenance and development of knowledge channels
• Coordinating with other business support units to ensure implementation of practice development strategies
• Collating continuous feedback to ensure an iterative process of improvement within the function

Given the high level of responsibility attributed to this position, it is imperative that applicants have around 3+ years of experienced gained within a Practice Development/Knowledge Management/Professional Support function within a City law firm. Ideal candidates will be those with experience in practice development for a financial services/regulatory team, although this is not essential.
