Funds Legal Counsel

This is a great opportunity for a junior funds lawyer to join the investment management arm of a multinational financial services company. The role is very broad and will include advising on UCITS, AIFs, very high value vanilla funds and governance work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on a range of funds work
• Negotiating and drafting contracts and agreements
• Supporting governance structures of boards
• Advising on very high value vanilla funds

Your key skills:

As the Funds Legal Counsel you will be between NQ - 2PQE (however a different level of experience will be considered if you meet the requisite standards) working on a range of funds matters. This is a new position and one where the client has specifically highlighted they are looking for a lawyer who not only has a strong technical background but will enter the role with an open mind looking to really grow into the role and grow their experience.

A multinational financial services company which is based in central London dealing with a wide range of products. Their asset management arm is one of the largest in terms of assets under management in the UK, but despite the size, the legal team is tight knit and streamlined.
