RTA Litigation Executive ( Claimant )

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Legal 500 firm at their Sheffield office. 

Experience necessary- candidates must demonstrate proven experience of running a PI case load of fast track, RTA claims (portal and none portal) and of litigating fast track cases to trial. They will have knowledge of running a caseload of 150+ files through to litigation.

This position could be at Paralegal/case handler level or i.e. an experienced Lawyer however knowledge of law and procedure appertaining to FT RTA claims is essential as is experience of using a case management system and Microsoft office Excel, Word & Outlook

Duties of the role will include:

• Manage an existing caseload of portal and non-portal RTA FT PI claims
• Conduct client interviews
• Instruct medical experts, review medical reports and arrange medical treatment as well as oversee the payment of related invoices
• Undertake the valuation of claims for general damages
• Draft documents in preparation of court proceedings and attend final court hearings where appropriate.
• Prepare instructions to counsel
• Liaise with clients and all related third parties effectively in writing and over the telephone
